A Bridge Too Far

Interesting perspective on an Allied operation that did not go as planned.

Good little effort. My expectations were higher because of the reviews.

Udaan

There are a few movies which strike a chord somewhere deep down inside of you. An emotion is touched, one which you yourself didn't know existed.

Watching this one brought so many memories flooding back. Especially since it is set in my dear old hometown. The language, the experiences of coming out of boyhood into young adulthood ... so much that you can connect to. And so any memories that I didn't even know I had left so far behind.

kahaani khatam hai, ya shuruaat hone ko hai....
subah nayi hai ye, ya phir raat hone ko hai...
aane wala waqt dega panaahein...
ya phir se milenge do raahein...
khabar kya....kya pata....

Lovely movie with amazing performances. And has the music to go with it. There is hope for Hindi films yet.

iPod Nano 2010

I've never been an Apple fan. But this year's changes to it's Pod lineup are impressive. Especially the Nano which becomes true to it's name by losing the clickwheel & getting operations confined to just a small touchscreen. Very cool.

Just when one thinks they can't improve 'em further, Apple goes ahead & does just that.
