Happy B'day Nayak babu

Yesterday was Soumya's b'day. Forgot all about it as usual. Pritish called up in the afternoon & said we'd be going to his place in the evening.

Reached Mookambika for the party at about 9:30. Bacardis were going around for everyone & all had a pretty good time. Come to think of it .... it was the first time Prits & me were drinking together after all the years we've been together ..... & that brings to mind another thought .... Soumya, Prits & me have somehow been together since the time we were in Nursery! Same pre-school; same high-school ..... different colleges but resolutely in touch & now here in Bangalore. Cool!

Prits seems to be having a hard time after his break up with Mads. Don't know why people get so involved in relationships they know they can't follow through with. Is it simply for the s word or the company? Whatever it is, it's not worth the heart break & the cribbing.
