(I'll be so) lonely ....

The Convocation is taking place on the 5th of Feb. Prateek, Arni, Sid, Sandy, Neeral .... everybody is thinking of going. But I think I'll stay put here in BLR.

For starters, I've exhausted my leave quota for the year & then I can't stand 4 days of being on a train (up & down) so that I can spend 4 hurried days at home (out of which 2 will be spent at the Convo). Add to that the prospect of losing pay for exceeding the leave quota. Could have taken a flight 1 way to save time, but somehow the thought of spending ~4k on air tickets doesn't seem so appealing. Nah, I'm staying back. At least got Prav for company.

Got talking to Daddy yesterday. It'll be for the 1st time ever that they'll be spending Christmas without either Jolly or me in attendance. Especially when it'll be reunion time for all the others .... Neetu's coming with Yabs; Shalini will be back as will Vandana & Deepak. Mom & Dad are gonna miss us & I'll miss them & the parties.... can't help it.
