Under siege

Some jehadis caught 3-4 days ago in Delhi had revealed that there was a new strategy in place - that of attacking targeting academic institutions & IT parks/companies. As part of this new stratergy, the I.I.Sc., Bangalore was subjected to a terrorist attack yesterday. 1 person of the 4 unfortunate enough to have crossed paths with the AK-47's bullets has died (as of now). Wonder where they'll strike next? My company has one of the biggest setups in Bangalore. I'm not exactly scared, but there's certainly a bit of apprehension.

Meanwhile, just 1 working day remains this year & people in the ODC are busy decorating parts of it. The same old streamers/balloons/thermocol routine. Similar decor in the BP ODC had remained in place from New Years' eve 2005 till I left in the last week of April. I have a feeling that something similar is gonna happen here. Let's see.
