Bill Gates says ....
Bill is in India on a 4 day visit & got talking (along with N. R. Narayanamurthy) to Prannoy Roy on NDTV 24x7.
In his words, "The 3 most dynamic economies in the world today are India, China & the United States."; "1 out of 2 is not bad" (referring to the US getting it right by getting involved in WW2 & its present involvement in Iraq); "It's strange that you get into meetings to make money & then to give it away" (referring to meetings for his company & charity foundation); "Everybody asks me, what about India vs China .... I say what about India, China & the US together, how great would that be?".
And in NRN's words, "I believe no country in the world is as open as the US"; "my friend at Harvard had 2 problems - asking his Japanese students to speak up & his Indian students to shut up"; "we've already established our debating skills, now we need to draw the line & take some action".
Great people, great thoughts, some funny insights .... best talk session I've seen for some time.
